Can I still come if I'm not free for the whole weekend?
OF COURSE! Trust us, we know life can be busy — that's why we're bringing this retreat to you, right here! We want you to join us for as much of the weekend as you can. If you can only come on Friday night for the Mardis Gras and our opening, we are asking for a $15.00 contribution. For the rest of the event, pay what you think is fair on the registration scale and contact us if you have any further concerns.
What about my baby/ children/ youth?
We don't want anyone left out of this event. Please register all your children from infants up who will be with you and we will plan a program and child minding that is welcoming, inclusive and a ton of fun. Many of the activities of the weekend are appropriate for all ages. Youth grades 7 and up are invited to participate in the weekend as adults. They may register for any of the workshops that interest them. You will receive more information about the children's programming in the week before the event.
Are there any hidden costs?
Your registration fee will cover your meals, snacks, workshops, theme session and any other activities that take place over the weekend. On Friday evening we will have a Marids Gras dance and this will include a cash wine/beer bar ($5/glass). 'Happy Hour' on Saturday will also include wine/beer for purchase. Non alcoholic beverages are, of course, included at no cost!
